2. Definitions

“AdHawk,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to the operators of the AdHawk platform. “User,” “you,” or “your” refers to any individual accessing or using the Service.

3. Description of Service

AdHawk is a platform that allows users to report companies whose advertising practices are intrusive or manipulative. We maintain a public boycott list and provide resources for fighting intrusive advertising.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use this Service. If under 18, you must have parental consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements and have legal capacity.

Donations: To make donations, you must be at least 18 or have parental consent.

5. User Responsibilities & Moderation Rights

When using our Service, you agree to provide accurate information, not submit false or defamatory reports, respect others, and not use the Service for any unlawful purpose. We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any reports that violate these Terms at our sole discretion.

6. Prohibited Uses

• Distribute malware or spam
• Impersonate anyone else

7. Donations and Financial Terms

All donations are voluntary and processed through secure third-party payment processors. We do not store payment information. Donations support site maintenance and operations. Refunds may be requested within 30 days. Donations are not tax-deductible.

8. Email Subscriptions

By subscribing, you agree to receive periodic updates about offenders and AdHawk news. You may unsubscribe at any time. We do not sell or share email addresses.

9. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of anything you submit but grant us a license to display and use it for platform operations.

Our Content: All AdHawk logos, designs, and text are protected by copyright and may not be reused without permission.

10. Disclaimers, No Endorsement & Limitations

Availability: We strive for uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service.

Accuracy: User reports reflect personal experiences and may not be verified.

No Endorsement: Inclusion or absence of a company on the platform does not constitute endorsement or a legal determination of misconduct.

Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent allowed by law, AdHawk, its founders, contributors, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AdHawk and its affiliates from any claims resulting from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Privacy

Your data is handled according to our Privacy Policy.

13. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time by posting a new version with an updated date. Continued use means acceptance of changes.

If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain valid. Sections on intellectual property, liability, indemnification, and governing law survive termination.
